More Mediterranean Romantic Suspense

Before I wrote for Kensington and Bookstrand I published some romantic suspense in the UK. These are tougher books than my recent historicals, but all still contain a strong element of romance threaded through the mayhem and three of them are, like my light novellas A Secret Treasure and Holiday in Bologna, set in the sunny Mediterranean.

In The English Daughter, a musical instrument restorer finds her family's past come back to haunt her when she visits a friend on Corfu to repair an antique piano. Was her Greek father, a policeman, involved in the murder of a young English tourist some years before?

Set in Rhodes and on the fictional island of Asteri off the Turkish coast, Night of the Storm involves Melissa, a young photographer, who travels to Greece to investigate the true story of her boyfriend's death and uncovers a wildlife smuggling syndicate trying to peddle a very rare and valuable animal.

Bologna, Milan, Venice and Florence in Italy are the settings for Voices in the Dark. Julia Rochfort and Roberto Padovano meet in Florence, where Julia is singing in an opera competition. They discover that they share a past, but the secrets they reveal - buried deep in the Italy of World War II - put them in mortal danger.
